The latest security update from Microsoft will patch a bug in Windows that has existed for 17 years. It first appeared in Windows NT 3.1 and has been incorporated into most versions of Windows since then. The security update will also fix 25 other holes, five of which are critical. The bug was discovered by a Google Security Researcher and the old bug involves with a utility that allows newer versions of Windows to run programs that date from the DOS era. He was able to exploit the same utility in Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and 2008 as well as Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Microsoft also has recently released a patch for a vulnerability in Internet Explorer that is thought to have led to the attacks on Google in China. Well, it’s about time they do something right. They should force auto-update on all old Internet Explorer.
I always had a problem organizing my media file such as music file. Because of too many file, i become so lazy to sort it all out. But not anymore! Songbird has save me so many time by helping me organizing it to the way i want it. 
Songbird is a free and open source software audio player and web browser founded by Rob Lord and developed by Pioneers of the Inevitable. Songbird employs Mozilla’s XULRunner platform, and is thus capable of running on Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, Solaris and Linux. Songbird also utilizes the GStreamer media framework.

Today my friend computer suddenly stop producing any sound, and it happen without any warning. She ask me to look into the problem and i thought it only driver problem, and i was wrong. All the audio driver working perfectly. Even when i update the driver still nothing happen. So i think it must be Windows problem. After looking at services.msc and try to start Windows audio services. I got an error, “Could not start the Windows Audio service on local computer. Error 126: The specified module could not be found“.
By the way Google is really your bestfriend, after some googling. I found out the problem happen because Audiosrv.dll is missing from the Windows/System32 folder. Maybe it got infected by virus and anti-virus remove it from the system. After restoring back the missing DLL, everything work like the way it’s used to be.
