Microsoft Take 17 Years To Fix A Bug

The latest security update from Microsoft will patch a bug in Windows that has existed for 17 years. It first appeared in Windows NT 3.1 and has been incorporated into most versions of Windows since then. The security update will also fix 25 other holes, five of which are critical. The bug was discovered by a Google Security Researcher and the old bug involves with a utility that allows newer versions of Windows to run programs that date from the DOS era. He was able to exploit the same utility in Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and 2008 as well as Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Microsoft also has recently released a patch for a vulnerability in Internet Explorer that is thought to have led to the attacks on Google in China. Well, it’s about time they do something right. They should force auto-update on all old Internet Explorer.

Luna Online

It is just me… or i just get annoy with childish behavior of Luna Online player… I don’t know if they care to read or they just playing without even knowing that the game is currently in Open Beta phase… It not yet release officially…

They keep whining about glitch, bug, problem, error and the list continue without knowing end… The server had special maintenance also they whining thinking that they can do a better job then the current Game Master…

To all the bitchy player, stop whining or stop playing… No body forcing you to get involve in the world of Luna Online…

P/S: it kinda remind me at those old day when i still manage Ragnarok Online server… Damn they keep whining like the world gonna end tomorrow…

RO Private Server… Again…?

Well… lately… some people… start asking me about game… and then it start to become Ragnarok Online Private Server topic… Well it not like i don’t want to do it… The motivation is there, the drive is there, the mood is there, the passion is there… but the fund isn’t there Also i still cant decide on what name need to be use with the future server… since DevilRO.org already out of service and hard to claim it back…

By the way… since i`m plan to repair my laptop (Well the shop say repair the mobo much cheap then replace it)… i have kinda extra fund to get a decent powerful desktop… maybe i should try hosting at home since my internet line kinda on 24/7… (Well it was home internet line… and it from screamyx… so don’t put so much hope on it…) I cant guarantee you all a good server with no-lag, new feature, custom eq and new storyline… I just can guarantee you all to have nice place to hang out and chat with old friend…

So this is where all of you need to do your part…

Anyway the reason why i`m doing this pool is just for survey. It doesn’t mean i`m gonna open a RO server again (lol). Even if i want to, i don’t have the budget to do it. If my calculation is correct, on 23 January 2008. I will only have RM30 inside my bank. Yeah thats true, i`m fucking broke right now. Nothing i do will help me solve this problem, unless … the bank process my Google cheque more faster
