It is confirm that TM Net is blocking bittorrent based on user-agents. So the only way to connect to bittorrent tracker is by changing your bittorrent user agent. We can achieve this by using a proxy server which allows use to change the HTTP header.
THIS WILL NOT SOLVE THE THROTTLING PROBLEM. It only allows you to connect to the tracker.
So what do you need to solve this problem?
- paw_release_0.27.zip
- Bittorrent Client
Download the “paw_release_0.27.zip”
Download the “paw_release_0.27.zip” zip file
Brought to you by silverhawk from LYN.
After you finish download “paw”. Unzip it to wherever you like and do a little configuration for “paw”.
If you want to change the port number, go to “conf/server.xml”. You can change the username and password there too (this is a recommended action). You also can change your HTTP User-Agent by using “startGUI.bat” or directly open “conf/headers-request”
Here’s a list of possible user-agents to use: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_agent_string#Browsers
So now to configure your bittorrent client to use your HTTP proxy.
Server: localhost or 127.0.0.1
Port: 8080 (default)
After that, run “startServer.bat” and restart your bittorrent client. Now you should be able to connect to trackers
Remember, this DOES NOT improve your download speed, it just enables you to connect to trackers.
Another solution, maybe u can try BitSpirit.
